Have you wondered why we’re so strict about what affiliates can and can’t do?
This is where it all started…
There’s this other dog trainer on YouTube called Peter Caine. And he got really annoyed when an affiliate of ours started spamming his videos.
So he made a video about it and posted it to his YouTube channel…
He crucifies Doggy Dan for it. Just watch the first few seconds:
So we immediately apologized via email and social media, and got the affiliate banned from ClickBank.
Then he made this video:
Again, we banned this new affiliate and contacted him, but he couldn’t understand what affiliate marketing was and still held Doggy Dan responsible.
Then he came out with this:
And then this one (after we continued to try and reason with him):
And he didn’t stop there…
And he kept going…(he still won’t reply to any of our letters, emails or posts)
The biggest problem (for all of us) is what these videos look like in YouTube. Anyone who searches up ‘Doggy Dan’ will see Peter Caine’s derogatory videos in the right column. He now has over 16,000 subscribers and each of these videos is getting over 1000 views.

Now it’s time to fight back.
This is where we can take advantage of social media and beat him at his own game.
If we all report these videos as inappropriate, and get enough of us to do it, YouTube will remove them.
So please, we’re asking you to go to each of these videos on YouTube and flag them.
There’s a YouTube support post here about how to do it here and I’ve made instructions below:
These are the 7 videos that you need to flag:

I know it looks like a lot of work, but the process is very quick – just a few clicks.
Such a shame that we now have to pay for the abuse of just one or two affiliates.
How to flag and remove the videos
Firstly, flagging videos is anonymous – Users cannot tell who flagged a video. However, YouTube does require you to be logged in to use the flagging tools.
Let’s go… click on each of the YouTube video links above.
- Below the video player, click on the “More” button
- Highlight and click the “Report” button in the drop-down menu

3. Click on the reason for flagging that best fits the violation within the video – choose “Hateful or abusive content”
4. Provide any additional details that may help the review team make their decision – throw in a few words about the situation.

And that’s it.
We then hold our breath while the YouTube guys review each flag, and hopefully they take them down.
This guy is really hurting us all. The slander and defamation of character is ruining the amazing brands that Doggy Dan and The Online Dog Trainer have become.
Dan and I thank you so much for helping.
Any additional ideas are welcome below in the comments section.
